Bullsey Studio BV works out of two rooms on the Westzeedijk in Rotterdam: one for sampling, one for packing. We make plush in runs we can count and keep a public record — on Solana — of every numbered piece that leaves. The first numbered run is coming soon.
The sample nobody ordered
Ilse Vermeer drafted the first bull for a client that went under before production. The sample sat on a shelf for eleven months. We made ninety of them ourselves, mostly to prove the pattern worked, and they went in a weekend to people we mostly knew by name.
Then the emails started: is mine one of the first ninety? We had no way to answer. Everything we have built since — the numbering, the claim cards, the registry on Solana — exists because of that question. The Genesis run of 900 is the first one that will be counted properly, and it is coming soon.
We are deliberately small. One pattern cutter, one production lead, one person on the ledger and the contracts, and one who answers your email. Nobody here is a growth department.

The registry
What a claim card
actually does.
A claim card is a scratch panel with a one-time code. It binds a physical number to a record anyone can read, and it works whether or not you have ever touched a wallet.
An email address is enough
Enter the code, confirm your email, done. The record is yours and the studio pays the write. You never see a seed phrase, a network fee, or a wallet prompt unless you ask for one.
A wallet is optional, and reversible
Attach one later and the record becomes portable — transferable to a buyer, readable by any explorer. Detach it and custody returns to the email claim. Neither direction costs you a piece.
Reading is free and needs nothing
Every record has a plain page: run, batch, issue date, transfer count, repair history. No connect button, no signature, no app. That is the point — a buyer checking a second-hand bull should not have to install anything.
A lost card is not a lost bull
If the card is gone before it is claimed, email us with the woven label number and we verify it against our production log. It takes a day or two and it has always worked so far.
Materials
Nothing here is glued.
Eyes, crest, and wordmark are embroidered. Glued or plastic-riveted features are cheaper and they are the first thing to fail on a toy that gets loved properly, so we do not use them.
The shell is a 380 gsm recycled polyester boucle that holds a silhouette without going stiff. Fill is siliconised microfibre, and every batch is CE EN71-1/2/3 tested — certificates are on file and we will send them if you ask.
Sewing happens on a small contract floor near Porto that we visit twice a year. Dyeing the horn panels happens in 40-piece batches, which is why the Moss Horn Edition varies slightly from piece to piece.

Do I need crypto to buy a plush?
No. Choose Card at checkout and a payment link arrives by email within one business day. Nothing about the plush, the number, or the claim depends on holding $BULL — and that stays true when the plush runs open.
What does shipping cost?
Tracked shipping is $9 worldwide, included over $120. Express next-working-day dispatch adds $24. Duties outside the EU are the recipient's, and we mark customs forms honestly.
Can I return a numbered piece?
Within 30 days, if the claim card is unopened — once a number is claimed it is bound to your record and we cannot resell it as new. Unnumbered stock comes back for any reason in the same window.
Are these safe for a small child?
Every batch is CE EN71-1/2/3 tested with no small detachable parts. The Provenance Keyring is the exception: it has a brass ring and is not intended for under-3s.
What happens to my record if the studio closes?
Registry records live in a Solana program we cannot change after deploy, and the production log is mirrored to a public archive quarterly. If we shut down tomorrow, your record stays readable.
Will there be more Genesis pieces?
No. 900 is the whole run, the numbers are stamped, and reopening it would make every existing one worth less to the people who trusted us. Future editions get their own series.
When do the plushies actually go on sale?
Coming soon — the Genesis run is with the sewing floor and we will not name a date we cannot hold. The drop list gets one email at 10:00 CET the morning it opens, and the pieces are already listed on the shelf so you can see exactly what is coming. The hoodie, pouch, and pins are on sale now.
Has the $BULL contract been audited?
Not yet. An independent review of the Solana programs is under way and the report goes up here in full, findings and all, when it lands. Until then the addresses on the token note are unaudited code, and we would rather say so plainly than imply otherwise.
